Electro-Voice QRx-153/75 Bi-Amped Three-way
Full Range Loudspeaker System:
The Electro-Voice QRx-153/75 is a 15-inch three-way, full-range loudspeaker
system requires biamping at 500 Hz and its power handling is 400 -1,600 watts
LF and 150 - 600 watts HF. Horn-loaded 8-inch midrange driver is coupled to
a asymmetrical 75° x 50° constant-directivity horn and operates from
500 - 1,200 Hz DH7 3-inch voice coil HF compression driver is mounted on an
asymmetrical 75° x 50° constant-directivity horn. Concert-proven DL15ST
woofer delivers solid bass to 45 Hz in the large vented enclosure Ring-Mode
Decoupling delivers pristine vocals and rich, accurate mids and instrument reproduction.
The 15 degree trapezoidal enclosure is built of void-free, grain-oriented 13-ply
Birch plywood finished in Futura, a sprayed-on polyurethane finish that is very
rugged. Available in black or white. The Electro-Voice QRx153/75 comes complete
with L-track rigging hardware and single-stud Ancra fittings.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: |
The Electro-Voice The QRx153/75 is a biamped
three-way full-range loudspeaker system capable of filling performance
spaces with beautifully balanced audio and high acoustic output capability.
The Electro-Voice QRx153 is designed to be bi-amplified at 500 Hz utilizing
a DX38 digital controller, or a P1202 power amplifier with M153 control
module. All Electro-Voice QRx models use 13 ply plywood, Futura coating,
and steel grilles for wear and weather resistance. The Electro-Voice QRx153
is trapezoidal with 15 degree side angles. “L” track rigging
is installed on the enclosure top and bottom.
Small arrays can be flown for live work, or the system can be suspended
horizontally or vertically for fixed installations. Thanks to its combination
of the DL15ST woofer and large enclosure volume; the horn-loaded 8-inch
midrange driver and powerful 3-inch compression driver, the Electro-Voice
QRx153/75 has extended response for high-level, high fidelity applications
without the need of a subwoofer. The horn-loaded midrange driver provides
excellent pattern control in this critical response area. Both MF and
HF horns are aimed downward 10 degrees to provide optimal aiming when
the speaker is elevated above the audience. This also helps control sound
to provide greater intelligibility. The Electro-Voice QRx153/75 has an
excellent combination of performance and flexibility for demanding audiences.
