With the help of a translator, the Williams Sound Language Interpretation System, model WIR SYS 4 ensures that all participants, no matter what their ethnicity or background, hear the message and proceedings equally. It is possible to broadcast up to 4 languages simultaneously during a proceeding. Listeners wear a small receiver with a headset to listen to the translator. They can sit anywhere in the seating area and can adjust the volume to meet their comfort level. For the hard of hearing participant, the RX12-4N receiver can be used with a neckloop (included) to amplify the participants telecoil equipped hearing aid. SoundPlus infrared technology ensures privacy and security: the message of the proceeding will not travel outside the walls of the courtroom. This system meets the ADA accessability requirements for public hearing assistance. SoundPlus IR Technology ensures secure transmission of the proceedings, and 2.3-3.8 MHz operation reduces lighting interference.
