The BaseSTATION is a meeting room solution that enables meeting room
participants to use their own personal applications on their own devices
(tablets, laptops and network computers.)
By connecting via HDMI or VGA, the room’s monitor connects to Vaddio’s
BaseSTATION control dock located on the meeting table. Users simply connect
personal devices to the BaseSTATION and begin using their favorite collaboration
tools.
Employees can share PowerPoint or Keynote presentations, engage in high
definition videoconferencing using Skype, Microsoft Lync, WebEx or any
other UC application. BaseSTATION allows any application to be shared
or collaborated in the meeting room. Users can also use the standalone
SIP based speakerphone for audio conferencing calls.
BaseSTATION includes the necessary peripherals to create a high-quality
multi-use room and group collaboration experience: an HD point-of-view
camera, microphones and a control dock.
The real secret though, is the ability to work with any OS and any computer
application that supports USB. As a result, any personal application that
runs on your device can now be a meeting room application. |
