Yamaha MY16-AT Card : ADAT - 16 In x 16 Out - TOS LINK (x4)

16-CHANNEL MULTI-FORMAT I/O VIA A SINGLE SLOT - The Yamaha MY16-AT - ADAT 16 in x 16 out TOS Link (x4) interface card is for use with Yamaha digital mixing consoles and other products with mini-YGDAI card slots to provide up to 16 channels of simultaneous ADAT (Tos Link) digital I/O via a single expansion slot. All 16 channels can be used independently at sample rates up to 48-kHz.

CONNECTION WITH 96-KHZ RECORDERS - Although the Yamaha DM2000, Yamaha DM1000 and Yamaha 02R96 handle 96-kHz audio as standard, most of the currently available digital recorders can handle 96- kHz audio only in double channel mode (using 2 tracks to make one). In this configuration the Yamaha DM2000, Yamaha DM1000 and Yamaha 02R96 use one channel for one (96-kHz) track, but twice the number of I/O connections must be used. The newly introduced Yamaha MY16-AT/TD/AE cards can handle 16 channels of 44.1/48-kHz audio or up to 8 channels of 96-kHz audio in double channel mode. With the newest recorders that handle 96-kHz audio as standard (in double speed mode like the Yamaha DM2000, Yamaha DM1000 and Yamaha 02R96) you can make standard connections using the Yamaha MY8- AE96(S) card. Yamaha MY8-AE96(S) card can work either in double speed or single speed mode.
